Spanish for Fun! is a great way for your child to learn a second language. All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers who have bachelors degrees and are experienced in teaching Spanish as a second language.
Why is learning Spanish so important?
- Each year 200,000 Americans lose out on jobs with businesses because they do not know another language.
- Technology has brought the world closer and has erased many of the existing borders. In order to connect with the rest of the world, the need for a foreign language is a must.
- Learning another language is a passport to greater understanding of one's own language and culture.
- Foreign language education is ranked at the same level as the "basic academic fields" by the National Commission on Excellence in Education.
- Colleges require foreign language for admission.
- Learning a foreign language helps to improve a person's SAT scores. There are studies that show for every year a person takes a foreign language, their SAT score improves.
- Learning a foreign language provides mental flexiability, creativity, divergent thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Foreign languages increase travel opportunities and help you meet new people.
- Learning a second language helps you understand the difficulty others have when they are trying to learn English.
